There are lots of options for kids to attend horse camps throughout the summer. Now there is a place that has it all! At Platinum Performance Horses, our philosophy on training for both horses and their people provides an excellent, safe environment for kids of all ages to learn and enjoy their summer time with the magic of horses! Our horses and program are very versatile offering a range of activities. Well-behaved horses and knowledgeable instructors make for a SAFE experience that will enhance a child's ability to learn and grow as their confidence grows and thrives. We ride, groom, learn horse care and management, swim, roller skate, and create crafts and of course, PLAY! Special guest demos each week too!
Horses provide so many skills that are invaluable in life such as coordination, balance, body awareness, team work, patience, rhythm, leadership and communication. The benefits of having the interaction with horses in a controlled and clean facility with top-notch instruction fosters learning and growth for your child that will last a life time. Plus it's a lot of FUN!
Children have lots of opportunities to learn different riding styles from western and English to bare back and saddle seat. This is a great start for those who might have an interest in competing someday or simply want to get a feel for the atmosphere of a well-run horse farm. Competition riders will have the chance to enhance their equitation and presentation in smaller, advanced groups with a trainer. Beginners are also encouraged to get involved with braiding, clipping and showmanship that comes with dedication and passion for the arena.
Children create life-long friendships through horse camp, not only with their human buddies but with the animals as well. It is truly priceless to see the relationships between children and their favorite pony pal. These experiences are ones that are treasured!
